On behalf of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at USC, I would like to thank all rushees who came out for Spring Rush 2009.
It was another great rush for our House as we gave out a 22 bids this semester. Congrats to our new pledges!
For those of you interested in joining USC's truly amazing and influential Greek community, we encourage you to come out and rush again in Fall 2009, because joining a Greek organization will be one of the best decisions you make during your college career.
Since our founding at USC in 1889 Sigma Chi has upheld a tradition of excellence on campus and within the Greek Community. Our new members are consistently the best on the "Row", and we can't wait to meet you.
Please check back later in the summer for more information regarding Fall Rush 2009. Thanks.

During the course of your college career, you will have several chances to become involved in campus organizations. One avenue for your consideration is membership in a fraternity. By participating in fraternity rush, you will meet men of different temperaments, talents, and convictions. You must ultimately choose the group that is right for you. To assist you in making this crucial decision, Sigma Chi offers rushees the chance to be part of one of the strongest, most renowned, and most prestigious international fraternities in the Greek world. Sigma Chi has initiated more than 243,000 brothers in its 145-year history - the second largest number of any Greek-letter organization. One of the greatest aspects for being chosen to enter the realm of Sigma Chi is the fact that unlike many Greek organizations, brotherhood does not end when you leave college. In fact, there are more than 115 alumni chapters worldwide to help facilitate the idea of unending brotherhood.
Alpha Upsilon Sigma Chi takes a firm stance against hazing. We believe that joining a fraternity should make one's college experience memorable - not miserable. Unlike many fraternities, we believe in the inherent value of all individuals and subsequently, we treat others with respect and dignity. Pledging, we feel, should be a process of learning, inspiration, and achievement - not one of hazing, degradation, or humiliation.
